Swatch & NOTD Featuring "Break A Leg-Warmer!"

Hey lovelies! :)

So today I have a quick little swatch and Nail Of The Day for you! :)

First up is swatches!

This is Sephora by OPI - Break A Leg-Warmer

Break A Leg-Warmer is a super pretty blue-gray creme. It's opaque in two coats, dries quickly, and has a great formula!

You may remember that I swatched this before when I swatched the whole Tinseltown Collection, but since that was back before I got my camera,(boooo, blurry iPod pictures!)  I figured I'd do a little re-swatch with a better picture. :)

So now for our Nail Of The Day!
For today's NOTD I added a coat of Sephora by OPI - Justa' Pinch Of Glitter to my ring and thumb for glitter accent nails! :)

I hope you all had a great weekend! Have a happy Monday! :)

French Mani Fun!: Zebra Print Acrylics!

Hey lovelies!
So remember how in my last French Mani Fun post I told you how these leopard print acrylics were my favorite set of falsies I've ever painted?
Well uhm, yeah, that's changed now.

Because these have got to be my favorite falsies I've done, my favorite French Mani I've done, and it only comes in a close second for my favorite Mani I've ever done EVER.
(The #1 all-time favesies being this rainbow zebra print mani!

So here they are, sparkly hot pink zebra stripe French falsies!! (Ahh!! :D)

(P.S. Sorry about the excess glitter around my cuticles, I got really excited and didn't bother with cleanup before I started snapping pictures LOL)

For this mani I used:
Kiss Nails - Everlasting French Tip Acrylics
Sephora by OPI - What Aura Gonna Wear?
Sally Hansen - Black Nail Art Pen
Pixel - Pixel Dust
Seche Vite Top-Coat

I also pulled the little Loubitan trick and painted the underside pink too! (I can't wait til my natural nails are long enough to do that again!!):

(Ahem, pay no mind to the fact that you can see my messes un-shaped natural nail on the index finger LOL)

I. LOVE. THESE. :D  !!!

Oh and hey, if you're wondering at all about the process of how I did these, there's a little mini tutorial coming soon, so stay tuned! ;)

NOTD: Fun with Zoya Happi!

Hello there my lovelies!
For today's Nails of the Day, I'm re-swatching Zoya - Happi, and also having a little French Mani fun with it! :)

I got Happi back in January during the Try 3 Free promotion, and it's definitely become one of my top favorite polishes in my collection now! :)

Happi is a pretty, summery, pink with coral shimmer, and in in the right lighting you can even see a hint of green shimmer! :)
It's perfect for Spring and Summer, and now that warm weather is finally here in PA, I'm super-duper loving this one! :)

I tried to capture the green shimmer, but it's tough to see on camera. You can see it in person though, especially in the sunlight! You can definitely see the gorgeous coral shimmer though! :)

Now, time for a little mini French Mani Fun!

For this one I used a base of the nude color from the Mark. Mode & Trend Collection, which is a light nude with pink shimmer. Then I added on Happi for French Tips, and sealed with a coat of Seche Vite!

I think the shimmer of the nude really complemented the shimmer of Happi, and the result was a nice Springy, shimmery French! :)

I hope you're all enjoying nice weather like we're having! Spring coming around always puts me in a happy mood! :)

BONUS! Check out this gorgeous rainbow! This came out over my neighborhood the other day after it had been storming all day long. It was so bright and beautiful, and it was perfectly arched all the way around! I haven't seen one as bright as this in a long time. :)

French Mani Fun - Leopard Print Acrylics!

Hello my lovelies! I'm sorry I've been so MIA lately, I needed to take a little blogging hiatus for awhile.
But I'm back now, and I have some fun posts coming up for you guys! :)

Today I have a French Mani Fun post!! :)

So I recently had to cut my natural nails back down to nubbins, (sad day!:( ) so I was playing around with my falsies the other night and came up with this little look!

I used Kiss Nails DIY Acrylics, then cut some Sally Hansen Salon Effects into shape and made a leopard print French Mani! OF COURSE  I did rainbow, you know how I do ;) LOL!

The finished product:

My Right Hand:

(P.S, sorry about the wonky little hand pose here. We all know how my my righty does not like to cooperate with me! :p)

I really loved how these came out, I think these are probably my favorite set of falsies I own now!
I will for sure be breaking these babies out again! :)

Flip/Flop February Day 24: Tissue Paper/Rainbow

Hi lovies! It's time for Day 24 of Flip/Flop February! We're really nearing the end here now! :)

Today's Flip/Flop was Tissue Paper/Rainbow, and surprisingly, I actually didn't choose rainbow! :p
I've been wanting to try the tissue paper technique for awhile now, so I gave it a shot!

The way I did it was, I cut out small pieces of the tissue paper with the design I liked, then put a coat of clear polish (I used Seche Vite top-coat) on and stuck the tissue paper to it. I smoothed it out and held it for a few seconds until it stuck. Then I used a cuticle stick and a file to get off the excess paper, then sealed it with another coat of clear polish. :)

Make sure to check out the other bloggers manis as well! :)

Flip/Flop February Fay 20: Flowers/V-Gap

Hi lovelies! Time for Flip/Flop February Day 20!

This days Flip/Flop was Flowers/V-Gap!
I'm not big on floral print myself, and I already did some flowers in this challenge, so I decided to give V-Gap a shot.

Now I'm not gonna lie, I have to google what V-Gap was LOL. I don't know how why I've never seen this style before, but I had no clue it existed. I like it, it's a cool new style. I'm not completely in love with it, but I could see myself wearing this again.

There are a few different ways to do V-gap, I went with a technique that I saw on a YouTube tutorial, and painted the base color and then used a striping brush to paint the shape in the center.

For the base color I used Rimmel 60 Second Dry - Climax and for the v-gap shape I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Rockstar Pink. Then I sealed with a coat of Seche Vite top-coat. :)

Don't forget to check out the other bloggers manis! :)

Flip/Flop February Day 12: Drips/Matte

Hello once again, lovies! So today is Dy 12 of Flip/Flop February!

Today our flip/flop is drips/matte.
So what did I do? Matte Drips, of course! :D

I love matte, I love drips, and I looove them together!

For this mani I used:
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Twisted Pink
Zoya - Mitzi

Mitzi is the matte in this mani, as you can see, Twisted Pink is not. But I really really loved the colors together, so I went with it! :)

I did 2 coats of Twisted Pink, then added on the Drips of Mitzi, and then for my accent nail I reversed it and did 3 coats of Mitzi and added on the Twisted Pink Drips.

I sooo didn't wanna take this one off! I love pink and green together! :)

Don't forget to go check out all the other bloggers amazing manis!!

Flip/Flip February Day 9: Abstract/Plastic Wrap!

Hello once again, lovies! It's Flip/Flop February Day 9!

Today's Flip/Flop is Abstract/Plastic Wrap, and I chose the flop today!
I was going to try and be creative and do abstract, but I really wanted to try plastic wrap since I've never done it before! :)

It was actually super quick and easy, an I think it came out pretty neat!

For those who don't know, the plastic wrap technique is when you take a small piece of plastic/saran/cling wrap, and dab it on your nail to get a cool effect. You paint one color and let it dry completely, then put one coat of your second color, then dab the plastic wrap, and it comes out awesome looking! It's really easy and quick too, (not counting the time it took for my first color to dry) it actually took me under 5 minutes! I will for sure be doing this again! :)

The colors I used were:
Essie - Smokin' Hot
Essie - Lapiz of Luxury

P.S., please excuse my nubby little ring finger. As I wrote yesterday, I had a terrible break and broke waay far down. I refuse to cut the rest down until this challenge is finished though LOL.

As always, please make sure to go check out all the other bloggers manis!! :)

French Mani Fun!

Hello lovelies! So, I decided to do a French mani last night, and I decided to go with something a little different than just the classic one color mani.

I did black (which my favorite to do for French Manis) and then, to spice it up and make it more fun, I added a hot pink accent nail! I really like the way it looks. :)

The colors I used for this mani are:
Black: Ulta - Little Black Dress
Hot Pink: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Twisted Pink
Clear Top Coat: Sally Hansen - Hard As Nails Strengthening Top Coat

What do think? Let me know in the comments! :)

Butterfly Nail Art!

So last night I decided to do some fun nail art, and I decided to go with something I've been wanting to try for a long time - butterfly nails! :)

Of course I've seen this beautiful trend all over the nail art community, it's so pretty and actually more simple than it seems!
I sat down thinking it might be pretty difficult, but it was actually simple and easy!

These were soo fun to do, and came out kinda pretty if I do say so myself! :P

I decided rather than just doing plain orange, to use an orange shimmer and a purple shimmer accent nail, just for fun! :)

The polishes I used were:
Orange: Sepora by OPI - I Think I Cayenne
Purple: Sephora by OPI - I Don't Bite
Black: Ulta - Little Black Dress
White: Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
