More Birthday/Nail Mail!

Hey again lovelies!

So now I have another post for you showing you another package from my birthday, this one from my sister Chrissy!

So what was fun about this package, was that the gift wrapping is also a gift!
My sister always comes up with cool ideas like that. :)
This is what all the other gifts were in, and it's a super pretty little insulated tote bag!
This is from Pampered Chef, which my sister sells. (If you're interested in buying anything, you can check her page out here: http://www.pamperedchef.biz/christinamarsden?page=home    ;) )

Not only is it super pretty, but the inside is insulated so you can use it to carry food, drinks etc., and keep them cold! :)

And now for all the fun stuff INSIDE the bag! ;)

First up is this set of Avon shower gel & body lotion, which smell amazing! It in the Cherry Blossom scent, which I love! Cherry Blossom is one of my favorite smells. :) Plus some Clinique eye-makeup remover, which is one of my favorite makeup-up removers, it works so fast! :)

Next up, these cute little owl-shaped emery boards, pretty little flowery temporary tattoos(which will most likely get used for nail art purposes, tehe ;) ) and a cute little owl-shaped lip-gloss pot! :)
The lip-gloss inside the little owl guy. :)

Next up, the Nail Mail portion of the gift!!
She sent this pretty little Flirt stamping kit, Kiss Nail Art polishes(which came with cute little stencils too!) and two gooooorgeous OPI polishes, Pink Yet Lavender, and Flashbulb Fuchsia! :)

Flashbulb Fuchsia
Pink Yet Lavender

Expect swatches of these veeery soon!! ;)

And last but most certainly not least, this amazingly gorgeous Dragonfly necklace! It's a super pretty silver dragonfly charm, with little silver gems in its wings and a big aqua gem at the bottom! I love it, it's super gorgeous and totally my style. :)

So thank you Chrissy for all of this fun stuff! I love it all!! :)

Nail Mail & Adventures in Stamping!

Hello lovelies! This post is actually quite late, this is a package that my cousin sent me for my birthday... in June. whoops! LOL.

Anyways, today I'm going to show you all the awesome fun stuff that my cousin Sarah sent me for my birthday! :)

Here's everything all-together! I love that Love Park postcard! (I'm a Philadelphia girl, if you didn't know! ;) )

There's black and white Konad stamping polishes! (I realized I forgot to take a picture of them by themselves.)

She sent me a TON of awesome stamping goodies! I've actually had any stamping tools before, so this was definitely fun to get all this.

Her sweet little note on the back of the postcard! :)

So first, there was a box of Wistonia Store stamping plates, 20 image plates with 139 designs!! :O

Look at all of those!!!

She also sent a Konad stamping plate, with cute animal print and other designs on it! :)

And this pretty little pink stamper and scraper!

And a roll of striping tape!
Can I just say how much it made me laugh that the tape introduced itself to me? That made me giggle when I was opening the package! Haha! :p

So thank you Sarah for all of this!! :D

And now, for my adventures in stamping using all of these goodies! ;)

Here's the first design I tried, I used a base of Sephora by OPI - Read My Palm and OPI - Pink Yet Lavender on my ring finger. Then I used the white Konad stamping polish and did some little flowery stars, and a little Panda bear! I obviously I was not too good at it yet haha! My pointer finger wasn't too bad, my pinky was terrible and my panda was a tad wonky. LOL :p

For this one I used a white polish (I totally don't remember which one, FAIL lol, sorry!) for a simple French, and then used the black Konad stamping polish to do a few little pretty flowery designs, which actually weren't too bad looking, but completely smeared because I put the top coat on too quick. :(
And then I used OPI - Flashbulb Fuchsia for a little butterfly, and then I put Pixel - Pixel Dust over top and a coat of Seche Vite.

So that's my adventure in stamping so far! I actually had done a black and white mani with some stars, but I forgot to get a good picture before it chipped. Boo. LOL :p

Have an awesome day everyone!! <3

MORE Nail Mail! :D

Hey again lovies! I have even MORE Nail Mail to show you! These came the other day and I love them sooo much!

The only reason I haven't posted until now, is because these literally came on the same day that all the crazy crap was happening with my iPod LOL, so now I'm finally getting caught up posting it all! :)

So I ordered these last weekend. I had been in the market for some nice quality, affordable nail art brushes for awhile now (all my previous nail art had been done the ghetto-fabulous way with make-up brushes, bobby pins, cuticle sticks, pins, whatever I could find LOL) so I was very excited to find out about these.
Quite a few other nail bloggers have blogged about this particular set recommending it, and all of the reviews on it on Amazon were great, and the price was a steeaaal so I bought it! :)

(I just wanna say right now, I'm not at all endorsed by this company, or amazon, I wasn't paid for this review at all, I'm just a very happy customer!! :D)

This is the MASH 15 piece nail art brush kit, it's soo amazing!! You get 15 brushes which includes 2 different sized fan brushes, a dotting tool, an angled brush (there's an important disclaimer on the sales page that is bent because its angled, it is NOT broken), plus all different sized striping brushes, etc. All the brushes come packaged with protective plastic caps so they won't be damaged, and best of all, it comes in this super nice black fold-up case!
All the brushes are very good quality, something that I really love about them is that not only do they vary in sizes, but also in softness. Which is really great because for certain designs its better to have a soft brush, while for others its better to have a firmer brush. I really loved that, I love them so much, I've only used them about three times now but I'm already in love!! xD

I got this for $10.99 plus $5.00 shipping, so it was only about $17 with tax! Such a great deal, and I definitely recommend this if you are in the market for some good quality, affordable brushes. This is the link to the page I bought it from: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005BG02BU?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links

As I said, I wasn't endorsed by anyone or paid for this review, I'm just a very satisfied customer, and I definitely recommend this to my fellow nail polish addicts! :)

Nail Mail! - Zoya Try 3 Free Promo!

So technically, this Nail Mail came yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to write up a post. So I'm a little late, sorry! :p

But I got my first Zoya polishes yesterday! I've seen Zoyas all over and heard how awesome they are, but up until now I never actually ordered from them.
But last week when they had their annual beginning of the year promotion, I finally ordered!
For those of you who missed it, the promotion was their Try 3 Free Promo, where you could pick any 3 polishes (excluding the 2013 collections) and apply the code "ZOYA2013" and it took off the price of the whole order! All you have to pay is the $10 shipping. So at $8 a piece, you're saving $24 dollars! If you do the math, since each polish is $8, it's pretty much like buy one get two free, $2 shipping! Awesome deal! :)

Oh and by the way, can I just say how cute it is that they come in an adorable tiny little box that fits all three?! Too cute! <3

So for my 3 polishes, I got Mitzi, Happi, and Opal!

Mitzi is from the Matte Velvet collection, it's an awesome Lime Green matte polish.
I really wanted to get one of the mattes, and I decided on this one. Well, technically Zoya decided for me because I was going back and forth between Mitzi and Phoebe (the blue matte from the collection) but Phoebe was sold out. So it was an easy choice. ;) LOL

Happi is a beautiful pink/coral duochrome sheer polish!
I was actually browsing around online looking at swatches of different Zoya polishes trying to decide on my 3rd polish, and I came across this color and fell in love with it! It's so pretty and pink and coral, and oh my gosh that shimmer!! This is so perfect for spring and summer, it makes me want warm weather even more than I already do.

And finally, Opal is green/blue fleck effect top-coat.
I actually first fell in love with the fleck effect collection when I saw swatches of them all over Pinterest, and I've wanted them ever since!
I was going back and forth between Opal and Maisie (the blue fleck effect) but I decided on Opal. Opal was the one I originally wanted, but I felt like since I was already getting another green, maybe I should've gotten the blue one (Maisie) but I decided to go with my gut and get Opal. I looked at swatches of both, and it seems like with Maisie it's harder to see the effect unless its over another blue, but with Opal you can see it easily. And in the end I'm glad I decided on Opal, because when it came I realized it has a blue/green duochrome to it anyway! So happy customer here! :)

So that's what I got! Swatches to come on all three of these! ;)

Did you guys do the Zoya promo? Let me know which ones you got in the comments! :)
